Our Legal specialist in Health and Safety Siobhan Donnelly is unique in her field and is the only practicing lawyer in the UK and Ireland with a sole focus on Health and Safety in the workplace. Siobhan Donnelly qualified as a solicitor in 1991 and worked in defence litigation. In 1996 Siobhan became Senior Partner when she formed Donnelly Kinder Solicitors. At this time she also formed SRT Donnelly & Associates, providing specialist legal advice in Health and Safety. In 2007 Siobhan left the partnership, to devote all her time to the first legal safety specialist company in the UK and Ireland.
Siobhan saw the need for Directors and Senior Teams to receive legal advice at a very early stage, before the accident or incident occurred and ideally when companies were creating or reviewing their safety systems. She wanted to protect directors from dealing with serious accidents or at the very least advise them in the aftermath of serious incidents or fatalities.
