Job Role:
Regional Sales Manager
Job Duties will include:
- Prospecting new clients by phone, email, face-to-face meetings from both leads and cold-calling.
- Maintaining & developing existing client base within a pre-determined territory by phone, email & face-to-face meetings
- With the support of our Marketing assistant, running sales and marketing campaigns to introduce the service to new clients.
- Accurate matching of the company’s offering to the Client company’s business requirements.
- Organising and delivering presentations with prospective new clients.
- Raising the awareness of the G24 service through exhibitions, generating leads and following up with key contacts.
- Promptly bringing a high proportion of business opportunities to a successful close.
- Generating weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and prospect pipeline reports
- Following entire sales cycle from introduction to close
- Working to target on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Response to government and private competitive tenders.
Key Qualities/Achievements/Skills
- Experience in target setting. Track record of achieving & exceeding targets
- Demonstrable track record within a sales environment.
- Minimum 2 to 3 years experience.
- Familiarity with technology and the mobile phone sector a strong advantage.
- The successful candidate will have a pro-active attitude to work and be a self-starter/self-motivated
- The ability to present, negotiate and close at top level are all essential
- The ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
- High levels of energy and commitment.
Experience in solutions selling is desirable. Travel within the UK will be a key element of this role.
Remuneration is based on a competitive basic salry with commisssion and attractive over-target bonuses.

Bluechip uses Direct Sales and Partner Sales models. The direct sales team work on a regional basis selling into corporate and government markets and have responsibility for delivering a sales target for that region. The largest sectors in which we sell are Housing organisations, NHS and Financial institutions. The company also has a number of clients in the Irish Republic.
The Partner team works with re-seller companies that include Blackberry/RIM and Orange plc. Regional direct sales people are involved also in partner deals for their region.
Due to Maternity leave a 12 month contract - with the option to extend or make permanent - has arisen in our Direct sales team.
Revenues are generated from the sale of
- Guardian24 corporate subscriptions
- Device sales
- Sales of training and consultancy services
Typical deal size currently ranges from 10k to 50K with some deals valued at over 100k.
The region to be covered by this appointment will include UK Midlands (from North of London to Scottish Border), and the Republic of Ireland. A number of current clients in the financial sector will be included.
The riole is based at the Belfast HQ, with regular UK travel. Candidates should expect to be in the UK or Ireland for 2 days per week on average, with busier periods at certain times of the year. The role reports directly to the CEO. The role will commence with a12 Month contract, to cover maternity leave. During the first 2 to 3 months the successful candidate will work closely with the current post-holder before maternity leave commences.
